Community gatherings and cultural workshops offered through Laʻakea Healing create spaces where people can come together to learn, reflect, and reconnect with values that sustain both individuals and communities.

Rooted in Hawaiian cultural knowledge, embodied practice, and place-based awareness, these experiences invite participants to engage with culture as a living practice rather than simply learning about it.

Facilitated by ʻAuliʻi Aweau, cultural practitioner, Kumu Hula, and healing-centered leadership consultant, these gatherings weave together cultural teaching, reflection, movement, and dialogue to create meaningful and transformative learning experiences.

Workshops and gatherings can be hosted in Hawaiʻi, throughout the continental United States, and internationally, and are designed to meet the needs of communities, organizations, and institutions seeking deeper cultural engagement.

  • Laʻakea Healing also supports opportunities for cultural exchange and relationship-building with other Indigenous communities around the world.

  • These gatherings create space for Indigenous leaders, practitioners, and communities to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and learn from one another while honoring the distinct traditions of each culture.
