ʻAuliʻi Aweau is a Cultural Healing and Leadership Consultant, Kumu Hula, and founder of Laʻakea Healing. She works with high-achieving women, leaders, and organizations navigating burnout, transition, and generational responsibility. Rooted in Hawaiian values and ancestral knowledge systems, Auli'i's approach bridges culturally grounded healing with modern leadership development. She supports individuals and groups through intentional, phased pathways that address burnout, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, trauma, and identity fatigue, helping clients move from overextension and survival into grounded leadership, resilience, and long-term impact.
Born and raised in the ahupuaʻa of Kailua and currently residing in Waimānalo on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, Auli'i brings over 27 years of experience in healing, counseling, leadership, and cultural education. Her work is informed by both professional training and lived cultural practice, integrating movement, storytelling, reflection, and structured assessment to support meaningful and lasting change.

Healing and leadership are not separate in our work. Leadership requires self-awareness, regulation, and integrity. Healing requires structure, accountability, and forward movement. I create culturally safe, relational spaces where individuals and organizations can address what is no longer sustainable and realign with values, capacity, and vision.
In addition to private 1:1 healing journeys, Auli'i partners with nonprofits, organizations, and community groups to support leadership development, team cohesion, and culturally responsive approaches to change. These engagements are rooted in shared intention, respect, and outcomes that serve both people and mission.
She is also the Kumu Hula of Ka Pā Hula O Laʻakea, founded in 2013. Healing through hula has been a central thread throughout my work honoring hula as a living practice of knowledge, discipline, storytelling, and transformation, not simply performance.
Laʻakea means “sacred light.” Guided by the kukui, symbol of enlightenment and knowledge, I serve as a guide for those navigating seasons of darkness, transition, and growth, helping them remember their capacity, restore balance, and lead with clarity and purpose.
If you are ready to move from burnout to alignment, from carrying alone to navigating with intention, 'Auli'i invites you to explore the pathways and offerings that meet you where you are.
Auli'i's approach is grounded, direct, and practical. She works from lived experience and more than two decades of leadership, healing, and organizational practice. She helps people and institutions name what is happening beneath surface challenges, burnout, turnover, misalignment, or stagnation and move toward responsible, actionable change.
This work prioritizes:
Healing as foundational to leadership
Nervous system regulation as a leadership competency
Cultural integrity as a requirement, not an add-on
Clarity before growth or scale

'Auli'i is a Kanaka Maoli, a Kumu Hula, and a cultural practitioner. Culture is not branding in her work, it is kuleana. When cultural frameworks are brought into leadership or institutional spaces, they are facilitated with context, care, and accountability. The work remains grounded in relationship and responsibility.
If you’re leading something meaningful, a life, a team, an organization, or a community and know it’s time to recalibrate, you’re in the right place. Explore the pathways, invite me to speak, or begin a conversation about working together. Clarity changes everything.
